- 2 cups cheese tortellini
- 8 oz ribeye or sirloin steak, thinly sliced
- 1 cup provolone cheese, shredded
- ½ cup cream cheese
- 1 red or yellow bell pepper, sliced
- ½ onion, sliced
- ½ cup beef broth
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp butter
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp onion powder
- ½ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp black pepper
Instructions
1️⃣ Cook the Tortellini
- Boil the tortellini in salted water according to the package instructions until al dente.
- Drain and set aside.
2️⃣ Sauté the Vegetables
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil and butter.
- Add the sliced onions and bell peppers, cooking until soft and slightly caramelized.
3️⃣ Cook the Steak
- Push the vegetables to one side of the pan.
- Add the sliced steak, season with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- Sear for 3 minutes per side.
4️⃣ Make the Cheese Sauce
- Add cream cheese and provolone to the skillet along with beef broth and Worcestershire sauce.
- Stir until smooth and creamy.
5️⃣ Combine and Serve
- Toss in the cooked tortellini, mixing until fully coated in the cheese sauce.
- Simmer for 2 minutes, then serve warm.
Notes
- For extra cheesiness, add more provolone before serving.
- Ribeye is the most tender cut for this dish, but sirloin also works well.
- If you like a richer sauce, add a splash of heavy cream.
