Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups cheese tortellini
  • 8 oz ribeye or sirloin steak, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup provolone cheese, shredded
  • ½ cup cream cheese
  • 1 red or yellow bell pepper, sliced
  • ½ onion, sliced
  • ½ cup beef broth
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper

Instructions

1️⃣ Cook the Tortellini

  • Boil the tortellini in salted water according to the package instructions until al dente.
  • Drain and set aside.

2️⃣ Sauté the Vegetables

  • In a large skillet, heat olive oil and butter.
  • Add the sliced onions and bell peppers, cooking until soft and slightly caramelized.

3️⃣ Cook the Steak

  • Push the vegetables to one side of the pan.
  • Add the sliced steak, season with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  • Sear for 3 minutes per side.

4️⃣ Make the Cheese Sauce

  • Add cream cheese and provolone to the skillet along with beef broth and Worcestershire sauce.
  • Stir until smooth and creamy.

5️⃣ Combine and Serve

  • Toss in the cooked tortellini, mixing until fully coated in the cheese sauce.
  • Simmer for 2 minutes, then serve warm.

Notes

  • For extra cheesiness, add more provolone before serving.
  • Ribeye is the most tender cut for this dish, but sirloin also works well.
  • If you like a richer sauce, add a splash of heavy cream.
